You are invited... to the Christmas Eve Pop-up Bakery this Saturday morning at 138 Church Street South (Breadtopia HQ). The hours are 8-12noon. Please note that there will be a pop-up next Saturday, Dec 31st, New Year's Eve.
There's a trio of special breads this week:
Cranberry Raisin Walnut
Aged Cheddar & Cracked Black Pepper
Dark Chocolate & Hazelnut Pain de Mie
The first two require no introduction but the third, Dark Chocolate & Hazelnut is a delicious variation on the usual Pain de Mie. Of course, this one would make the ultimate french toast on Christmas morning. Think nutella, this loaf is filled with Belgian dark chocolate chunks and toasted hazelnuts.
Dinner Rolls will be available this week in quantities of a half dozen for $5. Made with locally grown and milled unbleached wheat flour, whole wheat flour milled in-house from organic red fife wheat, butter, milk and eggs. These soft rolls will perfectly complement your Holiday feast. Pre-ordering is highly recommended.
