Perth County Slow Food Market - Jan 19th

The feature bread this week is Roasted Potato and Garlic.  This sourdough bread combines roasted Yukon Gold potatoes with local roasted garlic.  The potatoes give the crumb of this bread a wonderful soft texture and provide additional moisture retention that help make this one a great keeper.

Our feature pastry is Raspberry Danish, using local raspberries from Sheldon Berries in Lakeside on an almond frangipane base.
