Stratford Slow Food Market - April 6th

Spring-like weather has finally arrived this week and Easter is just around the corner!  Don't forget to pre-order our delicious Hot Cross Buns.

So, what makes our Hot Cross Buns so irresistible? They are crafted by hand in the traditional British style, including our own candied citrus. (Ingredients: Organic unbleached white flour, organic whole milk, sugar, egg, butter, currants, golden and sultana raisins, candied citrus and lemon peel, rum, sea salt, yeast and spices.)   The price is $1.50 each or $7 per half dozen buns.  They freeze very well and can be be thawed, wrapped in foil and reheated in your home oven.  Again, quantities are limited and pre-ordering is recommended.

An important reminder that there is no market on Easter Sunday, April 20th.  The following week, April 27th is the final edition of the Indoor Stratford Slow Food Market for the season.  We will be taking a break from then until Saturday, May 17th, when we will return to the St Mary's Farmers' Market.  We will be there every Saturday 8am-noon until the end of October.

The feature bread this week is Aged Cheddar & Cracked Black Pepper.  This is one of our most popular breads and is 100% naturally leavened.

This week we also have Raspberry Danish and Roasted Red Pepper & Fresh Herb Focaccia
