Pop-up @ Little Red's - Saturday December 6th


Panettone
Hello Breadtopians,

With the festive season now upon us, we're pleased to offer Panettone once again this year.   Panettone (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panettone) is the classic Italian Christmas bread.  This sweet bread features our own candied organic citrus peel, has an ultra-light, feathery crumb texture and is 100% naturally leavened with our wild yeast culture.  Sealed, it will keep fresh for at least a month and often longer.  Baked in a paper mold, this bread comes wrapped and ideal for gift giving.

This week at the pop-up, I will be offering samples with large Panettone (700g) for $24 and small Panettone (80g) for $4.
Rum Stollen
 Also offering Rum Stollen this year!  Stollen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stollen) is a traditional, sweet, rich German bread enjoyed during Christmas. This unique bread is filled with slivered almond, raisins and fresh candied citrus peel soaked in rum.  It keeps remarkably well and and will improve in flavour up until Christmas. 
Comes wrapped up and ready for gift-giving!  I will be offering samples of Rum Stollen this week and loaves will be available for $16 (500g loaf).

Both Panettone and Rum Stollen will be available from now until Christmas in limited quantities.  Pre-ordering is recommended and always appreciated!

The feature bread this week is Aged Cheddar & Cracked Black Pepper.  This oval loaf is 100% naturally leavened with our wild yeast culture.

Also this week, we have Cinnamon Rolls, Bosc Pear Danish, Kalamata Olive & Rosemary Fougasse and two varieties of Focaccia: Roasted Fingerling Potato & Parmesan and Roasted Red Pepper & Herb.
