A reminder that the 2015 season of the St Marys Farmers' Market opens in just a few weeks. Opening Day is Saturday May 16th from 8am - noon. Looking forward to seeing you all there! Until then, we will be at the Pop-up at Little Red's Pub & Eatery on Saturdays 8-10am.
Sesame Semolina returns as the feature bread this week. This loaf is a variation on our Stonetown Pain au Levain, where 40% of the wheat flour is replaced by durum semolina, a flour typically used in pasta making. This bread has a yellowish crumb and slighty sweet and nutty flavour, is 100% naturally leavened and includes locally grown and milled unbleached wheat flour with the addition of toasted unhulled sesame seeds.
Bosc Pear Danish is the feature pastry this week.
Also available are Cinnamon Rolls, Pain de Mie, Danish 100% Rye and Whole Spelt Sunflower.
The Focaccia this week is Roasted Red Pepper & Herb.
