The feature bread this week is Apple Cider & Hazelnut. Delighted to include my favourite hard apple cider in this one -- Batch:1904 from Brickworks Ciderhouse in Toronto. They craft their cider in small batches from 100% handpicked Ontario heritage apples. Visit www.theciderhouse.ca for more info. This delectable bread is 100% naturally leavened with our wheat starter and also includes the robust flavour of toasted hazelnuts.
