St Marys Farmers' Market - Saturday, September 10th

Hello Breadtopians,

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the market this Saturday from 8am - noon in parking lot at Jones and Water Street.  Eat local, Eat fresh, support small business and keep money in our community.

The feature bread this week is Raisin Walnut. This loaf is 100% naturally leavened with our wild yeast starter and filled with Thompson raisins and toasted walnuts.

New this week:  Sesame Wheat is now being made with 100% whole grain wheat flour, milled fresh from organic Ontario hard red spring wheat in our own stone mill less than 24hrs before mixing take place.  Using fresh milled flour has been proven to result in a moister, tastier and more nutritious loaf of bread.  I will have samples available for those interested in discovering the difference that fresh milled flour makes.  All the whole grain flour in our breads is now freshly milled in-house.  For those that enjoyed Sesame Kamut last week, that loaf will return next week.

Breads available this week:

Thames River Grain
Raisin Walnut
Country (Pain de Campagne)
Sesame Wheat
Sunflower 100% Spelt
Pain de Mie

Also available:  Roasted Tomato & Basil Focaccia and Kalamata Olive & Rosemary Focaccia.

Blueberry Danish is the feature pastry this week.
