The Pop-up Bakery continues this Saturday morning at 138 Church Street South (Breadtopia HQ). The hours are 8-12noon.
Aged Cheddar & Cracked Pepper returns as the feature bread this week. This loaf is 100% naturally leavened with our wild yeast starter, filled with old cheddar cheese and cracked black peppercorns. Now includes 20% freshly milled organic Red Fife flour.
With the holiday season approaching, there is a new offering this week: Salted Chocolate-Rye Cookie.
Sure to be a favourite of chocolate fans, this small but decadent cookie (2" in diameter) is made with a very generous amount of 70% Cocoa Callebaut Belgian dark chocolate and topped with a sprinkle of hand harvested grey sea salt. Sold in packages of 6 for $5. You can try before you buy, as I will have samples available. I won't be accepting pre-orders for this one as quantities are limited so you will have to come early before they are gone!
I will be rolling out a new seasonal item each and every week as the holiday season approaches.
