Pop-up Bakery - Saturday, November 26th

Hello Breadtopians,

The Pop-up Bakery continues this Saturday morning at 138 Church Street South (Breadtopia HQ).  The hours are 8-12noon.

Cinnamon Raisin Spiral Pain de Mie returns as the feature bread this week.  This loaf is filled with Thompson and golden raisins as well as a cinnamon sugar spiral.

New this week:  Kamut Honey-Lemon Shortbread.   Made with freshly milled whole grain kamut flour and flavoured with local raw honey and lemon zest.    No pre-orders yet for this one but I will have a limited quality as well as samples available.  Packages of four cookies for $3.50.  Also available:  Salted Chocolate-Rye Cookies.

Panettone is back!  This classic Italian Christmas bread, is available in limited quantities starting this week and every week until December 24th.  I have only two available this week (contact me to reserve) but I will have samples and will be taking orders for the upcoming weeks.   Made with our own organic candied citrus.    This rich hearth cake is 100% naturally leavened with our wild yeast culture in a process that spans over 48 hours.  It has a delicate flavour, a soft, ultra light interior and when wrapped, will stay fresh for four weeks.   $28 for a 750g loaf, gift wrapped and great served at holiday gatherings.
